3 Major Side-Effects of Too Much Cell Phone Use
Countless individuals are using cellular phones today, regardless of age. Even kids at younger age have cell phones, although it is proven to affect their behaviors. We still acquire cell phones though it can cause cancer and infertility in men.
There are 3 major side-effects of too much using cell phones:
1. Infertility in Men – 2007, Cleveland Clinic Researchers found out that men which consumes four hours per day of using cell phone has low-grade sperms than those men which uses less. They made another research, acquiring sperm samples from 32 men which they separated into 2 categories: control & test. Samples where placed an inch apart from the 850 MHz cellular phone in ‘talk mode’. They found that sperms caught free radicals compare to unexposed sperms, yet it didn’t affect their DNAs. It can affect the men’s health and daily activities. This study was published at Fertility and Sterility. However, it is best to keep your cellular phones away from your reproductive organs since it can affect you, having a child.
2. Higher Cancer Risk – A lot of research have resulted to brain cancer since it’s much intact when using a cellular phone although some basis have mixed up with the truth.
Cellular phones indeed have radiations but it’s simply radio frequencies not like those harmful radiations X-Ray machines emit. It does no damage in human and animal DNAs. Plus brain cancer takes decades to develop although it cell phone use can heighten the risk. Basically, it is associated with head tumors. Users are even 50% risk to parotid tumor.
Effects on Kids
Households prefer cell phones than landline; even kids have cellular phones. Harris Interactive found out 79% acquire cell phones. Kids are exposed to dangers in mental health. It can cause unhealthy effects which results to bad behaviors. Effects vary on every child since kids have different head size. Plus radiations on adults travel only for 2 inches, how much more on younger?
3. Effects on Kids Behavior – Cancer in Kids is totally alarming. They found out that those individuals who use cellular phones early 20’s is exposed to glioma or acoustic neuroma which leads to deafness.
Further Research Needed – Cell phones radiations has causes far worse than smoking and asbestos. Effects on children are not easily determined. For safety, it’s better to use hands free sets and headphones.
